RV Covers is, above all, a story of passion and commitment to quality. Behind this small family business are Pierre Sauvé and Lynn Bélanger, former entrepreneurs in construction, electricity, and kitchen cabinets, who discovered the RV world in the 1990s. Fascinated by the great outdoors and the freedom recreational vehicles offer, Pierre decided to channel his entrepreneurial spirit into this newfound passion.

In 2014, after managing hundreds of sites as a master electrician, Pierre felt the need to take on a new challenge. Observing a lack of high-quality protective covers for RVs in Canada, Pierre and Lynn decided to launch Toiles VR, a company dedicated to providing solid and durable products, built to withstand Canada’s harshest weather conditions.

From day one, Pierre collaborated with manufacturers to develop a range of products that he personally inspects and tests upon arrival. His insistence on quality is at the heart of his success, along with a commitment to exceptional customer service. Always friendly and available, Pierre takes the time to answer every customer question with patience and passion, sharing their love for RVs.

Today, Toiles VR offers a selection of over 500 products and sizes, including protective covers for RVs (Class A, B, and C), 5th wheels, campers, tent trailers, boats, snowmobiles, and golf carts. The company also provides replacement parts and storage accessories, catering to the diverse needs of outdoor enthusiasts.

In 2016, the company took a new step by adding Amazon as a marketplace, which helped it exceed one million in annual revenue. In 2017, Pierre launched The RV Covers, a brand tailored to the English-speaking clientele in Canada and the United States, further strengthening his presence in the North American market.

Today, Pierre runs his business from his property, designed to optimize operations and bring him closer to his family. Located near the St. Lawrence River, his property also houses a warehouse for RV covers and a parking area dedicated to RV winterization. Though he can’t RV all year, he has managed to recreate the scenery and tranquility of his RV adventures.
